Actor John Lloyd Cruz lambasted a news website for posting a story about his girlfriend Ellen Adarna which he tagged as “fake news”.
Instagram user @ekomsi which is believed to be owned by Cruz uploaded a photo showing an article published by Inquirer.net about the alleged birth and baptism of his child with Adarna.
The original headline of the said article on Inquirer.net reads, “Ellen Adarna got her son baptized and the hospital security was extra tight”.
After Cruz’s post, Inquirer.net changed the headline to, “Ellen Adarna allegedly got her son baptized; John Lloyd Cruz denies reports”.
The said article showed the claims of an unknown Twitter user who said that Adarna has already given birth at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu last June 29.
The netizen claimed that Adarna, who allegedly gave birth to a baby boy, is confined at the 12th floor of the said hospital.
She added that Adarna’s son was immediately baptized but no one was able to see or visit them due to tight security.
