A year after graduating from Arellano University in Manila, Filipina actress Sunshine Cruz was finally able to get her college diploma.
Cruz, who took up Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, shared proof of her academic achievement on her Instagram account.
“Finally got my diploma,” she captioned the photo with the hashtags #Eteeap #arellanouniversity and #bapsychology.
She also shared some throwback photos from her graduation day held on April 1, 2017 at the Philippine International Convention Center.
“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you,” she wrote quoting American blues singer B.B. King.
The 40-year-old graduated under an alternative program that allows working professionals to complete their schooling.
In 2016, Cruz shared her plans to pursue tertiary education, saying “it’s never too late to go back to school.”
In one of her past interviews, she admitted that she was not able to finish her studies due to the demands of being an actress. She started acting at the age of 19.
