Filipino singers continue to make waves in international singing competitions.
Lance Busa emerged as the champion of “Bolt of Talent”, a talent search hosted by Grammy-award winning crooner Michael Bolton.
Busa, 22, received a record deal and will join Bolton in his upcoming world tour as well as
He faced off against Thailand’s Mild Nawin in the finale which aired on Star World on Wednesday, September 27.

Busa beat fellow Filipino Lans Dimayuga during the elimination round and became the Philippines’ representative in the singing competition.
Other contestants include Malaysia’s Cassandra Anne and Gregory Ramanado, Taiwan’s Dena Chang and Holly Lou, and and Thailand’s Paige Mangkalarangsee.
Busa previously joined GMA’s boy band search To The Top, where he reached the grand finals.
