MANILA: A 5’10” tall Fil-Am from North Dakota recently outdid 27 other finalist bets to be crowned 2016 Miss World America in Maryland.
Audra Mari, 22, will represent the USA in the 2016 Miss World to be held in Washington, D.C. in December. Reigning queen is Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain, reported Philippine Star.
Audra is a Dean’s List student at the North Dakota State University, taking up Public Relations and Communications, the report said.
In 2011, she was crowned Miss North Dakota Teen USA and first runner-up in the national pageant. In 2014, she was crowned Miss North Dakota USA and placed first runner-up in the 2014 Miss USA pageant, it added.
