The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 623 passed the special professional licensure board exam for nurses, topped by Melisande Almenario Aguilar, daughter of Labor Attaché Ophelia Almenario.
“Sobrang saya ko,” said an ecstatic Almenario. “Over 400 from Abu Dhabi took the exam. I am very happy indeed. The passing percentage for nursing in Abu Dhabi is very high,” she added.

The labor attaché said she prayed hard for her daughter. “At marami kaming prayer warriors,” she said.
Aguilar got a rating of 81.40%.
The exam was given by the Board of Nursing in Abu Dhabi; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Kuwait; and Oman.
Aguilar was also a journalism student at Lyceum of the Philippines.
