Rain hit several parts of UAE over the weekend as temperature dropped to 6.7 degrees, the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) reported.
On December 15, moderate rain was reported in Tawiyen and Khatt-Ras Al Khaimah Road, Adhen in Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Malaiha in Sharjah. Light to moderate rain was also reported in Mebreh Mountain.

NCM also reported a slip in the temperature in several parts of the country on Sunday, December 16.
According to NCM, the temperature at Jais Mountain dropped to 6.7 degrees while other areas such as Mebreh Mountain (10.5 degrees), Rakhah (11 degrees), Damtha (11.9 degrees), and Al Jazeera (13 degrees) also experienced low temperature.
Today, the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather in general with some convective clouds and rainfall during daytime. Rainfall will be experienced in coastal areas and islands of Arabian Gulf.
Sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
