KZ Tandingan all set to go international

After her stint in the Chinese singing competition “The Singer 2018”, it seems like there is no stopping Filipino singer KZ Tandingan from conquering the international stage.

Tandingan said during the recent launch of online talent contest “Super K Star!,” where she will be one of the celebrity mentors, that she is planning on releasing an all-original album in China.

“It’s going to be an all-original album. And if we could include a Mandarin track, that would be better because the people will appreciate my efforts more,” she said.

Aside from launching an international album, Tandingan is also expected to reap more exposure in the “Super K Star!”, a competition organized by her management company, Cornerstone Entertainment, and Chinese social media platform Kwai.

Early this year, Tandingan impressed the Chinese audience of “The Singer 2018” with her rendition of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”, a performance which earned her the top spot during her first week in competition.

The soul-R&B singer revealed that the main reason she decided to join the said competition was to promote her music and get necessary exposure in China.

“That was our goal … Winning the show didn’t cross our minds; we knew that would be a tall order. I’m just thankful for the opportunity, because not many foreign artists manage to get in,” Tandingan said.

“I hope what I accomplished could also help other local artists looking for a break abroad,” she added.

Now, Tandingan is busy preparing for her major solo concert titled “Supreme” which will be held on June 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
