A total of 15 floors were destroyed in the fire that broke out in a residential building in Dubai Marina last May 13.
According to a report by Khaleej Times, 15 floors on the western side of Zen Tower were gutted in the fire, though there were no reported casualties.
The same report said that authorities will soon allow tenants to enter the building to collect their belongings that were spared from the fire.
Dubai residents have also reached out a helping hand and sent donations to those who were affected by the fire.
The fire at Zen Tower began at around 11:00 AM, as per the civil defense report. Authorities said the fire started at the building’s exterior and not from the inside, though its definite cause is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, the Dubai Media Office said on Twitter that residents were evacuated just in time and that no one got hurt in the fire incident. Firefighters were able to control the fire within 45 minutes.
