Education Secretary Leonor Briones was at 17 March 2017 at the Philippine Consulate General on March 17 where he was briefed by Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes on the current number of the Philippine schools operating in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and the future establishment of other Filipino schools across the UAE. She was also updated on the Philippine schools’ initiative to implement the K-12 education program here in the UAE. Briones, on her part, highlighted the proposed plans and programs that the Department will implement and expressed her support to all the Philippine schools overseas.
