An Indian woman threw acid mixed with chili powder on husband for getting slapped.
The husband was admitted to the district hospital with over 40 per cent burns.
He is undergoing treatment after the 27-year-old woman in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh reportedly poured acid mixed with chili powder on him while he was asleep for slapping her on Sunday.

A doctor at the district hospital said the man has suffered burns on several parts of his body.
Identified as Mohd Yaseen he would often beat up his wife and four-year-old daughter and two days ago he returned home and started abusing his wife and beat her up. An FIR has been registered under IPC section 326 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) following a complaint by the man’s family.
