Rescuers continued the search for landslide survivors of storm Agaton, which left at least 42 dead and 17,000 displaced.

The national disaster agency said three people were killed in the central province of Negros Oriental and three others on the main southern island of Mindanao.
Most deaths in Leyte were reported in the mountainous village of Mailhi where 14 bodies were found while at least seven people were killed and 20 villagers went missing in Bunga.
