Pregnant women are among 50 overseas Filipino workers who were repatriated from Bahrain.
The first batch of the Philippine Embassy’s repatriation program for 2022 included pregnant women, overstaying OFWs, deportees, medical patients, minors, and wards at the embassy shelter who flew to Manila on a Gulf Air flight.

Quarantine facilities for the returnees were arranged by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Bahrain in coordination with its main office.
The Philippine Embassy in Bahrain likewise thanked Bahrain’s Interior Ministry, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, and immigration officials for their assistance in clearing the exit procedures.
