Two Asians have been sentenced to 15 months in prison followed by deportation for assaulting their neighbor after attempting to rob him.
According to the victim, the suspects approached him after he walked out of his car.
The suspect then held him and attempted to rob the phone along with his pocket.

The defendants then beat the victim with a wooden stick when he refused to cooperate.
According to a report from Khaleej Times, one of the suspects hit his head with a rock several times until he fell to the ground.
Luckily, a passerby saw the assault and interfered before calling the cops. The victim was rushed to the hospital afterwards.

An investigation was launched leading to the arrest of the attackers in less than 24 hours.
The pair confessed to the attack which left permanent disability to the victim. (RA)
