His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces highlighted the UAE’s steadfast commitment to open the dialogue towards a more tolerant society on the occasion of the United Nations’ (UN) International Day for Human Fraternity.
February 4 was recently recognized by the UN as the celebration for the historic event that saw the signing of the Human Fraternity Document by His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Roman Catholic Church, and Dr Ahmed Al Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar, in the UAE.

On his tweet, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also recognized the two honourees of the 2021 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Moroccan-French activist Latifa Ibn Ziaten, who are both renowned for their contributions to society.
