TV host Willie Revillame has sold his Range Rover 2018 worth PHP12 million in order to help aid the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.
In his TV program Wowowin: Tutok To Win, Revillame said he had the car sold for PHP7 million in order to get the proceeds fast.
“Aanhin ko yun nasa garahe lang? Sa panahon na ‘to, hindi ko kailangan ng ganyan. Sabi ko, siguro ito na yung pagkakataon na makatulong ako sa mga kababayan natin ulit,” he said.
The host added that he already told Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro that he already gave PHP5 million to Catanduanes Governor Joseph Cua, and that the newly received PHP7 million will be allocated for the victims living in Marikina.
He, however, clarified that he is not bragging about his initiatives to help.
“Sinasabi ko lang ang totoo, baka sabihin nila nagyayabang ako. Hindi ho, totoo ho ‘yan. Aanhin ko ang magandang kotse kung marami akong kababayang naghihirap?” he added.
