A top-ranking official has revealed that Dubai recorded the most number of COVID-19-related violations in the country.
Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri, official spokesperson of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority ranked all seven emirates and found that Ras Al Khaimah had the least amount of violations that totalled 24,894 from September 1-15.

“The highest (number of) violations were detected in Dubai, followed by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Um Al Quwain, and finally Ras Al Khaimah,” said Dr. Al Dhaheri.
The NCEMA spokesperson also noted that mask-wearing was the most observed violation. This is followed by the maximum number of persons allowed in one vehicle, social distancing measures, and more.
Males accounted for 62% of the total cases detected, and females 38%. Meanwhile, 58% of the detected cases were between 25 to 44 years old.
