Netizens continue await any statement from the camp of Arnold Clavio following the revelations of controversial Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Sarah Balabagan that she was only 17 years old when she had a child with the broadcast journalist.
Clavio stays mum on the issue. Instead, he chose to post his new hair style on his Instagram account which did not sit well some netizens and supporters of Balabagan.
“If true, GMA7 should investigate Arnold Clavio for victimizing a minor then SB and fathered her child. This definitely was a “cover then abuse” journalism act on his part. No place in journalism. Unethical,” said one netizen.
“You have to make a choice and take a stand on the issue of Arnold Clavio fathering Sarah Balabagan’s firstborn child,” another said.

“As you know better than most of us: news is about accuracy, impartiality and integrity. Having less of these means having none of these,” the Twitter user added.
Balabagan said in a Facebook live video over the weekend, “Si ‘Kuya Arnold’ din ang kauna-unahang tao na nagpasyal sa akin sa Maynila. At siya rin ang kauna-unahang tao na nagyayang manood sa akin ng sine.”
She also said that she was told by Arnold not to admit anything. “Ang sabi kasi sa akin noon ni Arnold, e, walang aminan. Kahit ano raw ang mangyari, e, ‘wag akong aamin.”
