Nine individuals died while 16 others sustained injuries on two explosions that rocked Jolo, Sulu on Monday, August 24.
Western Mindanao Com chief Major General Corleto Vinluan confirmed that five soldiers were killed, while 16 others have been injured.
Reports from GMA News state that four civilians also died from the blast that took place at Barangay Walled City from Food Paradise in front of Plaza Rizal.
