According to Fantillo, she posted the video to assure their loved ones that they are safe and well despite the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-2019).
“We all know that we were facing a crisis here in Diamond Princess due to NCoV but hey we still managed to smile, laugh, and dance,” Fantillo wrote in her tweet.
“For our family and friends to know that we were ok here, we will stand together as one until we finish the quarantine,” she said.
“Five more days brothers and sisters!”
The Diamond Princess ship was placed under quarantine by Japanese health authorities after one of its former passengers test positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the Philippines said they are eyeing to rescue 538 Filipinos onboard the quarantined ship.
