The Dubai Court of First Instance had found a 31-year-old British tourist guilty of possessing and smuggling marijuana oil and cocaine.
She was caught of importing marijuana oil weighing 4.4kg and about 1.4g of cocaine.

In a report on the Khaleej Times, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay a Dh50,000 fine.
The woman will also be deported after the imprisonment.
She challenged the lower court’s verdict, but the Dubai Court of Appeals upheld the lower ruling.
The incident took place last April when authorities discovered drugs in her luggage at the Dubai International Airport.
