The Department of Migrant Workers will offer more than 4,000 overseas job opportunities during its Mega Jobs Fair on June 12 as part of activities marking the 128th anniversary of Philippine Independence.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Robinsons Galleria in Quezon City and will feature 13 licensed recruitment and manning agencies offering employment opportunities abroad.
According to the DMW, the job fair is open to Filipino jobseekers and overseas Filipino workers who were repatriated or displaced by the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
Available jobs include positions in the United States, Canada, Guam, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Brunei, Madagascar, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and onboard international vessels.
The DMW encouraged applicants to pre-register through its online job fair portal to facilitate faster processing on the day of the event.
The agency said applicants should bring multiple copies of their résumé or curriculum vitae and secure their QR code or Job Fair Pass before arriving at the venue.
The department urged interested Filipinos to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for safe and legal overseas employment through licensed and accredited recruitment agencies.
