The Department of Migrant Workers has opened three new contract verification centers in Saudi Arabia to improve access to government services for overseas Filipino workers.
The new centers, established in partnership with VFS Global and DBP Data Center Inc., officially began operations on June 10.
The facilities are located in Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah.
According to the DMW, the centers are designed to provide faster processing of employment contract verification requests, extended operating hours, secure online payment options, and real-time application tracking.
The agency said OFWs will also have the option of submitting applications through walk-in services or by booking appointments online.
Once verification is completed, the appropriate Migrant Workers Office will send the verified employment contract and Overseas Employment Certificate directly to the worker through email.
The DMW said overseas workers now have three options for contract verification: through the new VFS Global centers, through the online employment contract verification system, or directly at Migrant Workers Offices in Saudi Arabia.
The initiative forms part of the government’s efforts to bring services closer to Filipino workers abroad and improve access to employment-related documentation and assistance.
