Sharjah Filipina Squad – Coffee & Connect joined fellow Filipino organizations in celebrating Philippine Independence Day during the Kalayaan 2026 festivities held on June 7 in Dubai.
Founded to connect, support, inspire, and empower Filipina women in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the organization has been fostering meaningful relationships and a strong sense of community among its members through coffee meetups, wellness activities, and various community gatherings.
Through these initiatives, Sharjah Filipina Squad – Coffee & Connect has created opportunities for friendship, personal growth, and mutual support among Filipinas living and working abroad. Its efforts embody the Filipino values of bayanihan and solidarity, which continue to unite overseas Filipinos wherever they may be.
The group’s participation in Kalayaan 2026 underscored the important role of Filipino community organizations in strengthening ties and promoting inclusivity within the Filipino community in the UAE.
Kalayaan 2026 gathered Filipino organizations, businesses, community leaders, and families for a day of celebration, highlighting the unity, resilience, and achievements of Filipinos in the UAE as they commemorated Philippine Independence Day.
