Immigration Bureau to hire 100 officers

The Bureau of Immigration is in need of 100 immigration officers to be assigned at international airports and seaports across the country.

The government agency hopes that the additional manpower would help them secure national borders and improve services to the public.

“Through this hiring, we intend to provide faster and smoother processing in our ports,” Immigration Chief Jaime Morente said in a statement.

Immigration Officer I will be the position of the 100 personnel.

Applicants should be a four-year degree course holder and Career Service Professional Second Level Eligibility passer from the Civil Service Commission.

Immigration officials will undergo training before being assigned to different ports of entry nationwide.

“We will only deploy immigration officers who will pass the immigration officers’ course,” Morente said.

Interested applicants can check the requirements at careers.immigration.gov.ph.
