Senator Bong Revilla fired back on his critics over his controversial TV comeback with GMA Network.
“Haters are going to hate, and bashers are going to bash,” Revilla said in a statement.
Revilla added that he has proven himself to he innocent from the cases and charges against him over the multi-billion pork barrel scam.
“The truth is out there and it is their choice to side with lies and falsehood. Sino ang may problema? Not me,” the senator added.
Revilla also clarified that being a celebrity is a ‘reputable’ job and he does not see it as against the law.
The actor-politician added that he knows what his priorities are and his commitment is his job as senator.
“I am first and foremost a legislator. I know my mandate,” Revilla added.
“Records will bear how I fulfilled my mandate in my previous terms, and the almost six months of my work in senate now will speak for itself,” the actor said.
The actor will also have a TV show for the kids at the Kapuso network. Following the success of his defunct ‘Kap’s Amazing Stories’ before he was imprisoned for plunder.
He was acquitted last December and later on ran for senator in the 2019 midterm elections.
