Gerald Anderson has finally broken his silence and revealed his side of the story about the online posts of her ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Anderson said that a series of fights, small and big, triggered their separation.
“Siguro yung nangyari just like other relationship fight after fight after fight and we had this big fight. we’re just hurting each other. and then yung realization na hindi na siya (fight) masyadong healthy,” Anderson said.
The actor said with that kind of set-up, the two of them were just “hurting each other.” Anderson explained his decision to stay away and cut off his communication with Alonzo, or what netizens call “ghosting.”
“We’re just hurting each other and after that we have to stay strong. Umiwas muna sa communication,” Anderson added.
When asked if his “Between Maybes” leading lady, Julia Barretto has anything to with the break-up, Anderson said it has always been their personal issues.
“Walang ibang taong naging dahilan ng break-up. It’s always been our personal issues” he said.
Barretto has been romantically linked to Anderson after the two were spotted at Rayver Cruz’s birthday party. Anderson and Barretto chose to be silent on the issue after Alonzo’s cryptic posts on Instagram hinting “cheating” on Anderson’s side.
Alonzo explained her posts in an interview and said that there was no formal break-up between her and Anderson and that the actor just started not talking to her.
