Temperatures in the UAE are expected to reach as high as 49C today, Saturday, as per an official release from the National Center for Meteorology.
In a tweet, the weather bureau mentioned that Liwa will experience the hottest temperature at 49C while Fujairah will experience the coolest for the country, 10 degrees lower at 39C.
Dubai will experience temperatures of around 46C while Abu Dhabi temperatures will be a degree higher at 47C.

Fair to Cloudy for the next four days
Expect a fair weather to partly cloudy in the coming days, the state weather bureau advised.
From today to Sunday, weather will be fair to partly cloudy over some areas with a probability of some convective clouds formation over Eastward motions by afternoon.
Winds will be light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly freshening at times, with a speed of 18 – 30 and may even reach 38 kilometres per hour, the state bureau added.
Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will have slight to moderate sea waters.
On Sunday, the weather bureau warned that weather may be too hot during daytime and fair in general.
On Monday, weather will be fair and hazy at times over some areas; temperature tends to decrease especially over the coasts.
Tuesday will experience hazy weather with a decrease in the temperatures.
Winds will be light to moderate Westerly to Northwesterly freshening at times, causing blowing dust, with an average speed of 20 – 30, reaching 40 km/hr.
