Actor-TV host Jhong Hilario claims the top spot in the voting for councilors in the first district of Makati City.
After all of the votes in the area have been counted, incumbent councilor Hilario (UNA) received a total of 90,525 votes, the highest number among his opponents.
Hilario left his showbiz commitments before the 2019 local election campaign.
His character in the hit series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” was removed from the show, and he also stopped appearing on the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
