TV host-entrepreneur Willie Revillame was not pleased when one of his audience members revealed that she left her 4-month-old child at home to watch his show “Wowowin” live.
During a “Wowowin” episode aired on January 11, the woman who was part of a group from Antipolo, Rizal told Revillame that she already has a child when the former singled her out from the crowd.
Since she was watching the show live in the studio, Revillame then asked the mother where is her child, to which the latter simply replied, “Iniwan ko.”
Being the generous host that he is, Revillame first gave the mother money worth P3,000, a jacket, a cell phone, and medical supplements.
However, as the crowd cheered, Revillame scolded the woman and told her that it is not right that she left her child just to go see his show.
“Sandali, hindi tama yung iwan yung anak niyong walang kinakain, hindi tama yun,” he said.
He then told the woman to go home and attend to the needs of her child.
“Umuwi ka na, tanggalin mo na yung Wowowin [T-shirt]. Bayad daw to, di bale okay na yan, pabayaan niyo na siyang umuwi,” he continued.
Turning to the woman’s groupmates, Revillame said, “Eh yung anak nito hindi pa dumedede mag-isip kayo, hindi ba kayo nanay? Umuwi ka na.”
As the woman was about to leave the studio, Revillame called her once again and asked her if she knows her way home.
The woman said that she does not know to get home, Revillame gave her extra cash and told her to just take a taxi.
However, Revillame changed his mind and asked his studio crew members to take the woman home instead.
“Meron tayong service ba? Pa-service niyo na lang sa GMA,” he said.
When the woman was about to leave, she said that two of her companions have to leave with her because they need to go to the hospital.
The video ended with Revillame handing out P500 cash to each of them before they were escorted out of the studio.
