The hosts of the longest noontime show in the country, Eat Bulaga on Monday, were left confused and amused after a segment winner made a mistake by thanking GMA7’s rival network ABS-CBN.
After winning the popular Juan for all, All for Juan segment of the show, the woman proceeded to acknowledge the hosts, “Bossing, maraming salamat, Joey [de Leon], marami pong salamat, sa lahat ng staff sa ABS-CBN.”
Jose Manalo looked at her with amusement then corrected the contestant by making a joke.
“Hindi po ito ABS, Eat Bulaga po, ano po ba pinapanood niyo?” Manalo made light out of the mistake.
Rival noontime program Showtime back in April 2015, also had an embarrassing situation when a contestant made the mistake of greeting the audience by calling them “Dabarkads” instead of the usual “Madlang Pipol”,a tag that is popularized by host Vice Ganda.
