Families planning to spend a snowy Christmas in the Philippines may opt to travel to Baguio City this December.
Baguio Country Club (BCC), a private association, recently opened the gates to its most-awaited Christmas Village in Camp John Hay.
The village stages a galaxy theme this year, unlike previous years in which it incorporated cartoon characters into the attractions.
“It’s more of a light show and snow show combined which we know will achieve a wow effect,” Andrew Pinero, BCC corporate communications manager, said.
The Christmas Village will feature a snow and dancing light show, a Nativity show, choir performances, and a photo ops with a live Santa Claus.
Teenagers and adults need to pay an entrance fee of P120 while children four years old and above must pay P50. Senior citizens will be charged P85.
BCC members, persons with disabilities and children three years old and below, meanwhile, are free to enter the village.
Baguio Christmas Village will be open until Jan. 7, 2018.
