Although many celebrities came from rags to riches, these rich kids were used to moving around in mansions and resort-like houses, attended by a number of house helps 24/7, and probably haven’t taken a public bus rise from Ortigas to Makati all their life.

They are all doing great in their showbiz careers, but even if they couldn’t have been successful in the limelight, they will do just fine, financially at least.
The TFT entertainment team has come up with a listing of some of Philippine showbiz’ rich kids. Their life stories are just as entertaining as the world they have gotten into. And just as fabulous, too!

Matteo Guidicelli
1. Matteo Guidicelli. Matteo was a known car racer before becoming an actor. Gianluca Guidicelli, his Italian father, owns a manufacturing business in Cebu City.
Enzo Pineda
2. Enzo Pineda. Son of Eric Pineda, Manny Pacquiao’s brand manager. His stature once became an issue during his stint on StarStruck, although he has asserted that his family’s influence and money did not have anything to do with the competition’s outcome, where he won as First Prince.
Paul Jake Castillo
3. Paul Jake Castillo. Paul Jake’s family owns International Pharmaceuticals Inc., the makers of Efficascent Oil, Bioderm, and Casino Alcohol, to name a few. The Castillos in Cebu also owns Matutum Meat products, which distributes Holiday Corned Beef. Jake himself is a businessman. He owns the Yobob Lechon de Cebu.
Derek Ramsey
4. Derek Ramsay. Derek was born in England, to a British father and a Filipina mother. His dad, an ex-policeman who worked as a detective-inspector for Scotland Yard, has put up his own electronic-security business when he came to the Philippines. Derek’s family owns a “little paradise” in Talisay, Batangas, which has an infinity pool with a sunken bar, spa, sauna and scrub rooms, an artificial waterfall, a tree house, plus dental and surgery rooms.

1. KC Concepcion. KC is the eldest daughter of Sharon Cuneta, one of richest female actors in Philippine showbiz. KC was already earning seven to eight digits on TV commercials and endorsements before she even dabbled in TV and movies. She currently busies herself doing civic duties as the National Ambassador Against Hunger of the United Nations’ World Food Program.
Denise Laurel
2. Denise Laurel. Denise is a member of one of the country’s prominent political clan. She is the great granddaughter of the third Philippine President, the late Jose Laurel, and the granddaughter of the late Vice President Salvador Laurel. Her grandma, “Lola” Celia Diaz is of the famous Diaz clan of Cebu.
Heart Evangelista-Escudero
3. Heart Evangelista-Escudero. Heart, Love Marie in real life, is a restaurant heiress. She is the daughter of Rey Ongpauco, owner of the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants in Metro Manila. At the age of seven, she convinced her reluctant dad to let her chase her dream of becoming an actress. Heart’s grandparents, used to own Everlasting Films. Her uncle Rod Evans (Rod Ongpauco in real life) was an actor who was married to Liberty Ilagan, a well-known dramatic actress in the 60s.
Maine Mendoza
4. Maine Mendoza. Maine’s dad is an engineer and an entrepreneur, while her mom is an accountant. Their family owns a franchise of a gasoline station and a fast-food chain. Before she auditioned for Eat Bulaga! and became the phenomenal Yaya Dub, she already finished her practicum in New York for her Hotel and Restaurant Management course. Maine, is admired for her down-to-earth character.
