A brokenhearted man who has got no date on Valentine’s day punched fellow jeepney passengers in North Caloocan.
The man was identified as Zaldy Buena, who used a steel pipe to break the windshield of the jeepney, according to GMA News’ Unang Balita.
The driver recalled that Buena suddenly went amok and punched some of his passengers, prompting him to halt the ride sought the help of barangay officials.
Apart from the damage on the jeepney’s windshield, Buena also removed is side mirrors and destroyed the headlights.
Asked why he did it, Buena said he had a problem with his love life and he doesn’t have a date on Valentine’s Day.
The suspect admitted that he was under the influence of liquor and apologized to those he hurt.
He said he is willing to pay for the damages he caused. However, the victims are eager to file charges against him.
