A father and his two daughters have been stranded at sea for three days after a group of marines rescued them last March 12.
As seen on the video posted by Marino PH on Facebook, the marines were on board a tugboat traveling from Bohol to Cagayan de Oro last Monday afternoon.
They marines spotted the three individuals, one adult man and two young girls, floating by the sea and hanging onto their lives with empty water containers and pieces of bamboo. They quickly threw the lifebuoy ring and pulled the three individuals to safety.
The man was later identified as Ascale Melcarane, 60 years old, and two girls were his daughters aged 12 and 5.
According to Melcarane, they were traveling from Bato, Leyte to Surigao City last March 16, when big waves crashed the pump bot that they were riding.
“A father and his two daughters have been stranded at sea for three days after a group of marines rescued them last March 12.” So they were rescued first before they were stranded? That’s confusing.
