A fire broke out in Sharjah’s industrial area past noon on Monday and destroyed 12 warehouses.
There was no report of casualty.
The destroyed warehouses contain building materials and wood, authorities said, according to Gulf News.
Sharjah firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to other warehouses.
The massive fire caused thick black plumes of smoke that could be seen by motorists heading towards Sharjah and Ajman.
