Agemono Express, a Filipino-owned family business running since 2005, has opened its third branch at Burjuman to serve more Filipinos in Dubai.
Roberto Capulong and his wife Andrea have continued the Agemono history by reimagining the restaurant from its buffet idea to “on-the-go” cuisine that is both economical and excellent to cater to their rising number of clients, based in Dubai.
With their latest branch in Burjuman, Roberto hopes to reach out to even more Filipinos who have been enjoying their Filipino viands, specialties, and other Asian-fusion inspired dishes.
“Burjuman is a Filipino Prime Location – Our Branch in Dubai is located in Deira, Satwa, and Burjuman. Being a Filipino-owned Restaurant, we specialized serving Filipino dishes aside from Japanese cuisine alone. Most of our customers are from the Philippines, ang consumer talaga natin ay Pinoy kaya tayo nakapagtayo ng branch dito sa Burjuman.” said Roberto.
Agemono opened its doors in Burjuman in the presence of Philippine Consul General Renato Duenas Jr. Philippine Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Chairperson Bobbie Carrella, together with family and friends from all over the UAE.
Filipinos should try Agemono’s traditional Takoyaki, which is one of the restaurant’s unquestionably distinctive dishes, consisting of a specific blend of butter, veggies and octopus with a satisfying, delectable taste at every mouthful.
Agemono’s Tapsilog provides several marinated chunks of soft beef that have been fried to perfection, as well as special fried rice and a sunny side up egg for a traditional ‘Tapsilog’ combination. Each mouthful of beef has a combination of juicy umami flavor and a sweet-salty flavor profile that is perfectly balanced by the tasty fried rice.
Agemono Express Satwa Branch is situated in the center of Satwa, also has outlets in Burjuman and Deira, where Filipinos may be found in considerable numbers. They also have ‘Takoyaki Kiosks’ inside the Philippine Supermarket and Ansar Gallery in Deira. They always participates in the Dubai Night Markets during winter season “Night Market – Al Rigga” and “The Market – Al Muraqqabat,” all of which are also located in Deira.
