Talks between Ukraine and Russia are expected to resume on Monday, March 14, according to Russian negotiators.
Russia lauded the progress in these conflict talks which aims to end the weeks of fighting between the two countries.
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the talks will be held via video conferencing.
“Negotiations go non-stop in the format of video conferences,” Podolyak said on his Twitter account.
“On Monday, March 14, a negotiating session will be held to sum up the preliminary results,” he added.
Both camps claimed that the negotiations are gaining headway and significant progress was made after a series of talks.
“If we compare the positions of both delegations at the start of the talks and now, we see significant progress,”Leonid Slutsky, a senior member of Russia’s negotiating team, told Russian state media.

“My own expectations are that this progress could develop over the next few days into a unified position held by both delegations in documents to be signed,” an AFP report said.
