Former United States President Barack Obama has announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Obama however said that he was feeling fine apart from experiencing a scratchy throat.
“I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise,” Obama said on Twitter.
The former U.S. president added that his wife Michelle tested negative for the virus and he is grateful that they have been fully vaccinated.
“Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative,” Obama said.
