The Dubai Government announced Thursday that it will ease restrictions in the emirate.
However, rules and guidelines were issued to ensure the health and safety of the public.
As per instructions restaurants and cafes will be allowed to operate provided that dine-in customers will only occupy a maximum of 30% of the outlet’s capacity.
Restaurants and cafés are allowed to operate normally but are not permitted to serve shisha and buffet.
Seating density should be maintained 4 square meters per individual and tables and seats should be placed two meters from each other.
All outlets must follow the guidelines set for sterilization of facilities.
Restaurants outside the malls can serve food and beverages and receive customers as long as it will reduce its seating capacity to 30 percent.
A two-meter physical distance should be strictly maintained between individuals. All diners and staff should wear masks.
Only single-use cutlery can be used at restaurants and cafes.
Restaurants are allowed to provide food delivery services between 10.00 pm and 6.00 am.
