Dubai has announced extended timings for several commercial establishments in the emirate in its bid to provide convenience for the public.
Dubai Economy released a statement for the following establishments, which are now allowed to operate from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm:
– Money exchanges
– Building maintenance and related suppliers
– Air conditioning and cooling equipment repair and maintenance
Authorities furthered that building maintenance and air conditioning repair services can operate after 8:00 pm for emergency cases.
This follows an earlier decision done by Dubai Economy last April 13 where they eased operations for several food outlets with the same timings from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, provided that they adhere to the country’s preventive measures including proper sanitation and social distancing. These include:
– Meat trading
– Fruits and vegetables trading
– Roasters
– Mills
– Fish trading
– Coffee Trading
– Tea Trading
– Only the nuts trading and chocolates and sweets trading located in shopping malls can operate.
