Following the announcement of the 24-hour sterilization drive in Dubai, as well as the need to secure movement permits for necessary reasons, the Dubai Police have since been bombarded with several questions from residents.
In the website of Movement Permit Registration in Dubai, authorities have included a section dedicated for the frequently asked questions regarding the new regulations.

In it, the Dubai Police reiterated that those excluded from the restriction—since they are in the vital sectors—include Security Service providers and companies providing vital services of sterilization, employees of warehouses and industries of food and medical supplies and vital business, general delivery services of online businesses, Laundry Service Providers, and fishermen.
The authorities added that for those who own livestock, delivering cattle feed or feeding livestock are allowed, as well as visiting veterinary clinics.
The Dubai Police also noted that families and vehicles can cross Dubai to/from Abu Dhabi or Sharjah only under exceptional circumstances.
In addition, the authorities have reiterated that radars are able to catch all vehicles across the emirate since they will be active for two weeks starting April 4, subject for renewal. “There will be a special mechanism to review all tickets issued during this period,” it said.
Lastly, the Dubai Police have reminded everyone to present legal proof or permit when going out to avoid fine and punishment if stopped by a police patrol or captured by the radar.
