Dubai Economy orders temporary closure of these establishments

The Dubai Economy has ordered the closure of several establishments that engage in commercial activities.
In a tweet on Tuesday, it said that the circular takes effect on Wednesday, March 25 until April 8.

What are the establishments covered by the circular? Here is the list:
– Shopping Malls and Commercial Centers
– Open Fish, Meat and Vegetable Markets (Except the wholesale fish, meat and vegetables markets supplying supermarkets)
– All shisha cafes and coffee shops to stop serving Shisha
– Bodybuilding and Fitness Gyms
– Theme Parks
– Spring Camps
– All Commercial shops in open markets (Excluding bakeries, car workshops, workshops, laundries, technical and electrical services providers)
– All restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, coffee shops, food and shisha services establishments (Excluding restaurants and cafes at hotels and hotel apartments serving guests only, and food delivery services and transportation)
– Amusement Games and Electronic Games Centers
– Cinemas
– Massage Parlors and Spas
The other exempted establishments include pharmacies, cooperative societies, supermarkets, and groceries stores.

“In line with the precautionary measures adopted by the Ministry of Health & Prevention and the National Emergency Crisis & Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and previous announcements to this effect,” Dubai economy said in another tweet.
This circular overrules any previous decision on this subject.
