Several local government units of cities in Metro Manila issued ordinances imposing an 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19).
The nine-hour curfew is in line with the proposal of the Metro Manila Council (MMC) to impose a curfew during the 30-day community quarantine in the National Capital Region (NCR).

In Manila, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso stressedin a Facebook Live broadcast that the curfew is in line with the local government’s Code COVID-19 Contain and Delay action plan against the risk of mass infection of the virus.
The city ordinance will take effect three days after it was published in newspapers of general circulation which will start on March 19.

“During curfew hours, no person shall be allowed in the streets, commercial establishments, recreation centers, malls, or any other areas outside the immediate vicinity of their residence,” the ordinance read.

· Makati
· Mandaluyong
· Manila
· Muntinlupa
· Navotas
· Parañaque
· Pasig
· Pateros
· Pasay
· Quezon City
· San Juan
· Taguig
