Five positive COVID-19 patients recover – DOH

Amid the rising number of new cases recorded every day in the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) has also recorded continuous recovery cases of patients from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
DOH Sec. Francisco Duque said there were five patients who reportedly recovered.

He said this in an interview over radio DZMM, adding that they are still waiting for the test results of 72 other individuals.
According to Duque, the recovery period really takes time.

For mild cases, he explained, it usually takes two to three weeks to recover.
Those who are in critical conditions take at least one month or three to six weeks.
