Fog alert issued over parts of UAE today

The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) issued a fog advisory over coastal and some internal areas of the UAE today.

The fog advisory over western parts of the country will last until 9:00 in the morning.

Motorists were advised to take precautions while driving as fog will cause poor visibilities of less than 1,000 meters.

NCM reported fog formations over Al Dhafra area at 10: 53 a.m. and over Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi around 11:09 a.m.

The sea conditions will be slight to moderate over Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
