A medical doctor at a hospital in China’s Hubei province has died from the virus.
According to a tweet by the China Global Television Network (CGTN), they identified the doctor as Liang Wudong of Hubei Xinhua Hospital.
The 62-year-old medical professional was said to be at the front line of the coronavirus outbreak battle in Wuhan.
As of Sunday, the virus has already killed 56 and infected 2,000 individuals.
