San Miguel Corporation President and Chief Operating Officer Ramon S. Ang appealed to the public to stop spreading false information that his son has died.
He did not elaborate on the condition of his son Jomar, but he insisted that his son is still alive and fighting for his life.
“I would like to appeal to the public to please help stop spreading false news about my son, Jomar. He is alive and still in hospital. Please do not pass on or share these rumors,” Ang said in a statement.
“We ask for your continued prayers and request that you please respect the privacy of our family during this difficult time,” Ang said in a statement added.
Ang said that his family is grateful for the outpouring love and prayers in their family’s ordeal.
Jomar is the chief financial officer of RSA Motors, the dealer of BMW cars in the Philippines.
