PULSE ASIA: 7 out of 10 Filipinos believe Duterte’s admin implemented more infrastructure projects with “Build Build Build” program

Most Filipinos believed the Duterte Administration implemented more projects during his term compared to previous administrations based from the result of recent Pulse Asia survey.

From December 3 to 8, 73% of Filipino respondents said more infrastructure projects were implemented under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte while 25 percent of the respondent believed the administration implemented the equal number of projects if being compared to the past administration. The rest of the respondents were unsure if there were fewer or no projects implemented, as per a report from BusinessMirror.

Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects Vince Dizon said that the Duterte government plans to continue the “Build Build Build” program with thousands of infrastructure projects forecast to spend around P8 trillion by 2022, to spur economic growth and make the lives of Filipinos more comfortable.

“We will not stop here. Be assured that we will continue to push substantial implementation of ‘Build Build Build’ projects on the ground to make the lives of our people better and more comfortable,” Dizon added.

Some of President Duterte’s flagship projects were the Davao International Airport and the Laguindingan Airport, the Metro Rail Transit (MRT)-4 that will run between Quezon City to Taytay, Rizal, elevated walkways to and from rail stations to be known as EDSA Greenways, and the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge.
