China offers Duterte ‘hack-proof’ phone

China has made a special offer to President Rodrigo Duterte and this time it is a cellphone.

Duterte revealed China’s offer during his interview with GMA News.

Duterte said China offered him to have a mobile phone that can’t be hacked. The President however said he declined the offer.

He also addressed concerns that China can possibly shut down the country’s power supply over its share in the country’s National Grid Corporation.

“I will ask China now. I’d like to address myself, respectfully to President Xi, what could be the reason because I do not believe that they will do. But if there is, what could be the reason for you to cut?” Duterte said.

He also said there is no reason for China to cut off the country’s power lines.

Meantime, Duterte said China spying on the country.

“Right now they are listening to us, satellites, without using the grid, the spies, they know, I know because I have talked to him,” Duterte said.
