At least 11 people were reportedly shot on Canal Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
According to the report from Daily Mirror, the suspect opened fire in the area during the early hours of Sunday morning.
There were two victims taken to the hospital who are in critical condition.
New Orleans Police presence has been augmented in the area because of the Bayou Classic football game between Grambling State University and Southern University.
